I am not sure if that web site will help if you need to change from
'limited' to 'administrator.' The only way to do it is to log on as an
administrator!
"So how do you do that if I an a limited user?"
Here's the trick - assuming you are using XP home eddition you can reset the
computer and start it in safe mode (keep pressing F8 when booting and select
option 1) - there you can log on as the computer administractor (an account
designed for fixing your computer which you will not see usually) - this is
assuming a password has not been set which I find is often the case!
Now you are logged on as an administrator you can change your account back
(and any other account!)
However, if the current administrator (husband) finds out then it can be
changed strait back! So what you need to do is password protect the account
called 'administrator' so you can always change your settigs back - but
remember if your method gets found out i am sure 'administrator' will be
disabled for you!
