OK,
I want an Admin account and a Limited account.
On the limited account, I want to be able to play some games that I have on
my Admin account.(Half-Life Mods i.e. WON and Steam)
At anyrate, I have put these folders into the "shared files" folder, with no
luck getting them to work on the limited user account.
I realize some programs will not work on a limited account, however, BF 1942
works and was also transferred(shortcut to desktop) when I set up the
limited account.(Windows XP compatible???????????????)

The only way to take advantage of a limited account is to be able to play
these games as well.(For me anyway)

So, am I out of luck because these games will not work correctly on the
different user accounts??

Thx.

Addendum,

It seems as though Microsoft Word 97 is also lacking some things as well.
Spelling and grammar tab is grayed out. Is this just a matter of putting
the caps files in the correct folder as I did in my Admin account.
It is beginning to seem as though the different user accounts are not going
to work as smoothly as I had hoped.
There seems to be a lot of issues when trying to set these different
accounts up and I am unable to work around them.
As far as the games I would like to have available on the "limited account",
I have checked the 'use different credentials' box with no luck there as
well.
Again, am I out of luck on this or is there some info on this somewhere??

Thanks for any help.

I've had problems with a couple programs not running on a limited account
after they were installed on the Admin account - one of those was even MS
Internet Explorer, which surprised me. I got around that one by changing
the limited account to Admin, installing, and then changing the account back
to limited.

I've also heard of some people modifying the certain keys related to the
program in question in order to grant user priveleges to the limited
account.

However, there are still some buggy things. For example, try as I might, I
cannot get my virus scanner's realtime scan to work on the guest account.
