Hi, I noticed that there is a new account in the Windows
XP User Accounts. It's name is ASP.NET Machine Account.
Anyone has idea on why suddenly an ASP.NET Machine
Account is appearing the list of User Accounts (It is
using a limited account)? Is this account has something
to do with the .NET Framework that I installed via
Windows Update?

Hi,

You guessed correctly, the account is the result of the .net framework
update. You can safely delete it, or setup and autologon to bypass it.

Hi Rick, Thank you for your immediate response. I really
appreciate it. In that case, I will delete this account
because I do not want to see Windows XP Welcome Logon
screen. I can't bypass the Welcome Screen because of
this newly created account.

Thank you again.

You can still configure XP to automatically login (without deleting the
ASP.NET account)

Click Start, Run and type "control userpasswords2", and click Ok.
Uncheck "Users must enter a user name and password to use this computer"
option, and click Ok.
