Hi, we have widows xp and my son has just gone to control panel and set up
a new user account icon on the desktop. But unfortunately the original icon
on the desktop for the first account has dissapeared.

How to get back that icon and access the first user account for the PC
please? many thanks.

Hi,
When the second account was created, the original account became the
Administrator account. You can access it form Safe Mode.

You should not routinely use this Administrator account- that's why it's a
little difficult to access. Keep it clean, safe and uncorrupted. Setup other
User Accounts and use them.

Hope this helps,

Don- I was having the same problem, so I rebooted in safe mode and was able
to view all my documents. (so they are still there)...How do I go about
moving all my data that I can access when I'm the "administrator" (which i
can now only access in safe mode) into the new account that was setup? I'm
unable to work in safe mode in order to manipulate the docs for my orignal
need (copying my itunes library back while in my original user account). I
need to be able to WORK in the administrator mode...Any help here is greatly
appreciated.
