User Account Failure

We have three user accounts on our WXP, two have always
worked well. One account has failed three times in 9
months and has to be redone. All are Admin accounts. When
this account fails it often will not open, the desktop
becomes blue and can not be changed, no settings can be
changed and most of the software will not work. The only
method I have found is to delete the account and recreate
it. Can I prevent this from occurring? Why does it?
Appreciate any assistance. Thanks.

If it is having problems with the same account then im guessing that you
have called the account the same thing every time you re-set it back up??

I would remove the account, run a really good registry cleaner (I quite like
System Mechanic - the reg cleaner is quite good)......... then reboot.....
delete the users home directory if it is still there......... make sure
nothing in *:\Documents and Settings\ to do with that user name.

after that and you are still having the problem after that then I would call
the user name something else. then see if it still happens.

barring that unless there is a patch which I don't think there is for a
problem like that (I say that because it is very unusual for account
problems to just affect one account never mind the same one that many times
in a row and not to affect the others in any way)

Good luck
