Is there a way to prevent the "An unidentified program wants access to your
computer" box from coming up every time I open the same program?

There is really no way to do that with the exception being to turn off UAC,
which is unadvisable.

Typically if you right click -> run as admin. Windows should remember this next time and not prompt.
