Can anyone help, we have an access 2002 database which we
share accross a network to a number of users in our
institution. We would like to access a log of who has
logged into the system and preferably when, does access
provide this funcionality or is there another way of
viewing this info.

Any assistance is greatly appreciated.

Regards,
Mike

Hi Mike,

See the following knowledge base article:

How to determine who is logged on to a database by using Microsoft Jet
UserRoster in Access 2002 or in Access 2003 (285822)
http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx?scid=KB;EN-US;285822

I hope this helps! If you have additional questions on this topic, please
respond back to this posting.

Hi Eric

How would it be possible to see which users are using a backend data file
which is linked to many different front-ends.
I need to also have a list of the users. The problem is they are not all
using the same database. They are using a front-end on their local machines
which are linked to the data which is on the server.
