I have a user abusing the games that come with Windows
2000, Solitaire, etc. I have been asked to delete them
from the machine. How do I do this so that they cannot
reload them?

TIA.

Does the user have administrative rights on the machine? If so, you'll have
to do things like try to block access to sol.ex_ and other setup files from
I386, but if the user wants, he'll just bring them in on a floppy disk.

Also, you could use something like SMS to throttle the software usage.

Personally, where I work, it is up to the person's supervisor to deal with
this. This isn't a computer problem; it's a personnel problem. Sure, if a
supervisor asks, we'll delete sol.exe and all that, but if the user is
smart, he will have copied sol.exe to another location, renamed it, put it
on a floppy, etc.
