Ever felt the strong pain in the ass from internet multimedia ads?
They pop up from nowhere and block your views as well as access to
informations that you are searching in a hurry?
They eat up your slow downloading traffic bandwitdth? Make you wait
for
nothing?
They created annoying sounds and video, in your office / meetings etc
as you
were accessing crucial data or email during an important moment, and
make
people in the entire office / conference room turn their heads at you?
They exposed your web browsing at work, so you boss becomes aware that
you
were not really working?
Bloody Macromedia is especially the painful one, because ENDLESS
number of
times it will nag you to install and update itself. Wasting your
precious
time for nothing but annoying ads!
I use No!Flash while surfing, and it prevents ALL Macromedia Flash
ads, animated Gifs, pop-ups, and Javascript. VERY nice when going to
sites like news.com.com (cnet), cnn.com, weather.com, and others that
like to throw crap all over the screen.
It does disable features here (like the auto-jump when you select the
forum from the dropdown bar, and the animated smileys), but I can live
without those features. It also impacts some other sites I frequent
(banking, UPS shipping, etc), so I do have to turn it on and off,
depending on what I'm doing. I no longer get 'do you want to download
Macromedia Flash' either. If I want to re-enable the features, it's a
click of the mouse, fire off a new browser, and it's good to go again.

Try it up, not bad really.
