I hope someone can help me please. I hated Media Player
9 as it wouldn't let us burn CDs, so I used System
Restore to take the system back to a previous state.
However, System Restore stated that it renamed the
following dll files - WMVCORE.DLL and WMASF.DLL - to
WMVCORE(2).DLL and WMASF.DLL respectively. All of these
files are still in the System32 folder. I am now finding
that MP8 hangs after burning and we can no longer access
the media player Help file. I have a feeling it has
something to do with the above files. Any help would be
greatly appreciated.......thanks.

Burning is actually outside the player.

may help with the burning, but the player is simply accessing the system's
burner...
