if you can answer the following for the stuff you want to add and the stuff thats in it, it would be great

what make is it ? what size ? what speed ?

also what make and model is your motherboard ?

does it say anything on the old RAM on chips ? there should be something, any codes ?

on the back it says pcsdram rev 1.0 on the front on the black chip it says the following
hyundai korea
HY57V65802B A
013B TC-10S

there is also a sticker on one of the cips that says
HYUNDAI
0015
Korea

If it fits in the slot without forcing it, whack it in and try it, it'll do no harm.

However, if your current memory is, say, PC3200 and the extra stick you're putting in is PC2700, both will default to the slower speed.

Fit the RAM, run cpuid, and post memory info here, all of it, that may give some info.

Oh, and if your machine won't boot, it's incompatible, just turn off machine, take out the new (old) stick and reboot.

thanks for all your guys help but the ram doesnot fit into the motherboard it has ddr slots what a waste welp thank you so much anyways
