USED HARDRIVE BROKE

i activated windows with the product key, then the hard drive went bye bye. I reinstalled on a new one but the dang thing seems to want me to buy a new product key.. NO NO NO
What do i do? Who do i call? grrrr

All you need to do is follow the on-screen prompts to activate by
telephone. You most certainly do not need a new Product Key.

Uhm..

Your product key should be usable on the same system over and over and over.
Where was it printed?
Are have you entered that and are now trying to activate the copy of XP?
Have you tried selecting "Activate by Phone" if this is the case?
