use the same contacts on two pc's

I want to use the same contacts on two laptops. "A" is the primary laptop
and "B" is the secondary. I want to get the contacts from A to B. The
primarily solution I need is to simply "copy" the contacts from A to B from
time to time. Ideally I'd like to have synchonization, that is, if changes
are made in B contacts, have a way to get them to A, but that is a nice to
have, not mandatory.

I read on the discussion group that export/import is not workable. What
method would I use to accomplish my objective?

Thank you, Brian. I have establish a new folder in Outlook Folders called
"Shared Folders." The new Contacts file is contained there and is call
"Contacts." Where do I find this new file on the network so I can copy it
for the other laptop?

I followed the Microsoft instructions for sharing Contacts (plus Calendar &
Tasks if desired.) Created a copy, copied it to the B laptop. Then
configured B to point to the copy as the Contacts file. Everything looks OK,
however, Distributions groups cannot find the contacts within. It appears
like a pointer is lost. Any ideas?

Folders in Outlook are not file system objects. If you created a folder
called "Shared Folders" in Outlook, it's likely that it is in eactly the
same file as all your other folders. Please be precise in describing how
you created the "Shared Folders" so that I can determine what you did and
advise you on how to proceed.

That's likely true. DLs reference contacts from their original location.
DLs are quite fragile and many of us simply don't use them any more.
Instead we use categories or separate contacts folders.
