Portable Document Format (PDF) is the de facto standard for the secure and reliable distribution and exchange of electronic documents and forms around the world.

CutePDF Writer (formerly CutePDF Printer) is the free version of commercial PDF creation software.

CutePDF Writer installs itself as a "printer subsystem". This enables virtually any Windows applications (must be able to print) to create professional quality PDF documents - with just a push of a button!
... works in Vista & is 64bit compatable too. :thumb:

I use this all the time, great little app :) Fully recommended!

Hey this is great and just what I have been looking for!!

Adobe was way too expensive for me and I have been paying an online company so that I could convert some lengthy documents to PDF format on a job-by-job basis.

I have installed the programme and it works very well :)

A big thumbs up from me - a massive thank-you too :)

Love

PS It's the second time in recent days you have brought very useful products to our attention Mucks - the other being Spam Bully which on day 5 is almost fully trained and has made a massive difference to me. So, another big thank-you is on order :)

I actually had you in mind when I spotted it ... not sure if Ian has mentioned it before, but if he had, I had forgot. :p

Got another for you to try out ... if you need it that is ...SyncBackSE ;)

Thank you Mucks for all your help to me and others on the site :)

Two other free alternatives:

(Generates two pop ups if you stick with the free version - annoying but the program works great. It even allows you to split and merge PDF files.)
