Use task scheduler to start up an MDB form?

hi,

i'm not sure which newsgroup to use, so feel free to point me elsewhere.
(I've tried one other newsgroup.)

i have an MDB that produces many reports, automatically (via the startup
form's on open script). works great.

now, i want to automate this, so that it happens once every evening. i
created a macro that can be called via an Access startup command, and
double clicking on a .bat file that uses this, it works great too.

so, now i've tried both XP's task scheduler, and also sql server agent.
but neither seems to work. they start up Access (i see an MSACCESS.EXE
task in the Processes tab), but the task does not seem to do anything. i
have to kill the Access task.

anyone have any hints on how to do automatically trigger Access to start up?

thanks for your reply. the answer is that yes, i am specifying the full
path name of the MDB.

i've tried two approaches.
1. created a .BAT file, that startus up access with the target database
(and full path name), and uses the /x macro command line swtich to call the
macro i mentioned. double clicking on the batch file starts things up just
fine. but having either task scheduler call the batch file does create an
MSACCESS.EXE task, but it seems to go nowhere and do nothing.

2. so i tried having each task scheduler call access directly, by copying
and pasting the contents of the batch file into the scheduler. this has the
same effect.

so, any more help would be appreciated!
