Hi,
Does anyone out there know if there is a performance difference when you
access a local disk directly (i.e. D:\) and through a share on the same
machine? I've been toild that there isn't any since IP protocol stack will
intercept it and send it back to local disk and request will never touch the
NIC. Is this correct?
