Congrat's on your upgrade - I would definitely invest in a
W2k manual and check out sites that concentrate on BATCH
files- you can do everything you want but if you are not
familiar with scripts and writing batch files, then the
internet is your best bet for examples - these are small
and simple - yet powerful tools to automate everything you
want to do - good luck
 
Batch files are way too simplistic - you can NOT do everything you want.
Download and use a real Win32 Interpreter such as KixTart (http://kixtart.org) and it is
CareWare.
