Use of chkdsk under Vista

I'm running chkdsk on the system partition of a Vista PC. As a result, it
requests the process to be re-scheduled for next start-up. Should it find any
errors when the system is next re-booted, does it log these errors in a log
file for future reference or as evidence of a bad disk?

Regards

Hi,

If you choose "Schedule disk check", the next time you start the system, it
will check disks. After running, Chkdsk adds the results to the Application
Event Log with a source of Ckdsk. The Event log entry will contain the
entire Chkdsk output, including details about any changes made to the
volume. To determine if a computer has had ongoing disk problems, search
the Event Log for older Chkdsk entries.
