Use MS Word as editor

Hi all,

When i want to enable MS Word to be the default mail editor, I choose
Tools -> Option -> mail format
Afterward i found the option "Use Microsoft Office Word 2003 to edit e-mail
messages" is dimmed (not enabled for me to choose)

i found this after PC reboot. anybody can help??

So just WHAT format did you actually select under "Tools -> Option ->
Mail Format"?

Do have more than one version of Office (or any of its components)
installed? Don't mix Office 2002 with Office 2003 on the same host.
Did you ever install a beta version of Office? I believe it requires
that you uninstall the trial version BEFORE you install a licensed
version. Did you ever succumb to temptation in installing betaware
versions of Office and then uninstall it (hoping that your host would be
okay after the uninstall of the betaware version)? Did you have Word
not installed or an older version on your host when OL2003 was installed
and then later install Word 2003?

Have you tried using the Help->Repair menu (available in any Office
component)?
