Hello All,

I need to use Group policy to disble WIN XP SP2 firewall, or open specific
ports (both in bound and out bound) so my client PCs can use certain
programs. Could you tell me where the settings are under GPO that I can do
this?

Thank you,

-David

Doug gave the details and for an Active Directory domain you want to use the
domain profile for when the computer are connected to the network where the
domain controllers are. Also the Windows Firewall only manages inbound
access and all outbound traffic is allowed. It is often helpful to enable
logging for the Windows Firewall on a computer so that you can see what
authorized traffic is being blocked to help to create the exceptions. ---
