Is there a way to use GPO in W2k Server to grant/deny use of Windows/MSN
Messenger?

Thanks in advance for any info.

Jason,

You need to grab the adm files from an XP or 2003 machine. Browse to
c:\windows\inf on one of these platforms, adn copy all the .adm files to
c:\windows\inf on all your DCs and admin workstations. There is a section
called Windows Messenger you can use to disable the client.

Thanks Brian-
I didn't think there was a policy for this. I guess it helps to look :-). In
any case, it appears that this policy only works for Windows Messenger--not
MSN Messenger. Kind of irritating.
