You need to grab the adm files from an XP or 2003 machine. Browse to
c:\windows\inf on one of these platforms, adn copy all the .adm files to
c:\windows\inf on all your DCs and admin workstations. There is a section
called Windows Messenger you can use to disable the client.

I didn't think there was a policy for this. I guess it helps to look . In
any case, it appears that this policy only works for Windows Messenger--not
MSN Messenger. Kind of irritating.
