Hello!

I have a CD with Fronpage 2000 for win98 and winNT.

It seems to be impossible to use this CD for winXP pro.

Is this a correct conclusion?

The version of Frontpage 2000 that is usable on winXP pro which os is that
compatible with.

Frontpage version for win98 and winNT seems to be incompatible with winXP
pro.

FP 2000 came out before WinXP, that's why it says Win98 and WinNt.
However, FP 2000 *is* compatible with WinXP.

The retail version of FrontPage 2000 will install and run under Windows 98, 98SE, ME, NT, XP using
the custom install option, where you do not install the FP extensions.

There should be no problems running FP2000 on any version of Windows XP.

The version of FrontPage 2000 that is usable on winXP pro is compatible
with:
Windows 98SE,
Windows ME,
Windows 2000 Pro and Server,
Windows XP Home,
Windows XP Pro,
Windows 2003 Server
(including all variations [except language], updates and SPs for the above
OS's.)

FrontPage 98 is difficult to use with Windows XP Home, and needs care in
installing on Windows XP Pro.
