I have some major copies to make of all my photo and mail files ..... My
question is can I do the job on CD or DVD disks ? And what is the
difference in the procedure ?

Thank you,

Dan

Same procedure, but you might as well use DVD, as they have a lot more
capacity and, in my experience, are more durable against scratches.

How much data are we talking about? CD's usually store about 700MB. If
you have more than 700MB and you continue to generate more, especially with
some of the new cameras, each picture can be 3+MB or even more. I use DVD's
to back up my photos. When I get about 4GB worth, I copy the photos to TWO
DVD's. I keep one at home and store the other DVD somewhere else just in
case of theft or fire.

Procedure is the same. Just the media changes.
