Unable to install software for Minolta Dimage G414 or
compact flash Lexar reader;
"The driver installation file for this device is missing
a necessary entry. This may be because the INF was
written for W 95 or later. Contact hardware vendor" Done
this several times and get run around from all. can
someone help me, please. I am not very computer literate.

So what exactly happened every time when you contacted Lexar or Minolta?
Do you actually install a wrong driver? (like you're asking in a wrong newsgroup :)
