USB2Serial adapter!!!

Can anybody recommend a usb to serial port adapter box for us?
It would be great if we can have 16 serial ports.

And one more question: after plug in this adapter, can I find a
com1/com2/...com16 in the hardware manager of Window XP? I should send
command strings to our equipments through these serial ports.

Lots of luck, I've never heard of one that does more than
one and most seem to not work real well. I'd say your
best bet is a PCI card with multiple ports, but the
most I've heard of only have 8 ports. See

Here is one with sixteen ports. Kinda expensive
(~$30 per port). Since it has its own power supply,
you might get a better output voltage swing on the
RS-232 end with this.
