both of my usb ports do not seem to be responding.
[problem might be since I installed xp pro] (I installed
sp1 too)

windows does not recognize usb drive or usb camera and
even after I installed driver for camera it still does
not respond to it.
 
Go to Device Manager. Check for problem with usb hub. Reloading of board
drivers will probably get you going. Jym
 
you might try deleting them in device manager and then letting them be
reinstalled automatically
