Does he receive an error message or does it just do nothing when something is
plugged in?
You could go into Device Manager and remove all of the USB stuff and let
Windows redetect/reinstall it. Start>Run>devmgmt.msc . Select everything
under Universal Serial Bus Controllers and uninstall it. Reboot the PC.

I tried that 2 years ago with MSI - they said I had current drivers.
Then someone put me onto
http://www.everythingusb.com/
They found the driver I needed so that I could get my digital camera to connect via usb.
I seem to recall it was a bios driver that was needed.

Leroy, your question is akin to going to a Doctor and telling him that you
don't feel good, and expecting him to diagnose your condition and prescribe

Thank you all for your my brother went to his motherbroad website and they told him that one of the Bois was set to disabled and went he turn the Bois on and restart his computer all the USB drivers came on. Thank you very much for your help.
