M Malik Feb 17, 2005 #1 How can I disable the FLOPPY, CDROM and USP ports of the users at Group Policy?
C Colin Torretta [MSFT] Feb 17, 2005 #2 Hi Malik, The link below should be able to help you: http://www.gpanswers.com/faq/ You can fairly easily block access to the floppy/CDrom, but access to the USB port is a little trickier. It will involve making your own custom adm. template. The page tells you what you need to do though, so it should be everything you need. -Colin

S Simon Geary Feb 18, 2005 #3 This was multi-posted to windows.group_policy. I have listed an ADM file in that newsgroup that disables USB, CD-ROM, floppy and LS120 drives.
