Yes indeed. Could be Maine, which I've never visited, is like
Arizona, which i have, in that transportation costs sometimes jack up
the prices (especially food in AZ) more than you might expect. Maine
being in the middle of nowhere. What's the biggest town there?
Bancor or something? Probably like Arkansas in that the total
population is less than 6 M, without Googling it.

I suggest getting LinkSys and getting, for maximum coverage, the
dongle with the antenna (rather than just the candybar dongle).

Maine is tiny: only a bit more populous than Alaska: about 1.1 M
people. Arkansas only has about 3 M people. Wow.

Walmart offers you the ability to make an "impulse buy".
You get to take it home immediately. And that convenience,
is why they adjusted the price so high. It is their
measurement of the *value* of the item to you - an
instant solution.

So I 'instantly' didn't buy it. I don't mind waiting.

Those online stores buy HUGE amounts of a product from the
manufacturer so they get a better bulk discount. And if that store
does not have a 'brick and mortar' presence in your home state you
don't pay any tax. You will have to wait for it to arrive and pay a
little shipping charge but still much better than the 'impulse buy'.
Besides, don't kid yourself, your still paying Walmart for shipping,
it just isn't listed in the shelf price.
