USB Upgrade

I have a Dell 4300 computer running XP Pro. It has 6 1.1 USB ports.Can
I add a USB 2.0 adapter for additional USB ports or will I have to
disable the USB 1.1 ports in order to get the 2.0?

Not if you have an available PCI slot. Stick the USB card in there and
install the drivers off the disk supplied by the manufacturer of the PCI
card.
