I am currently working on a HP Pavillion ze1230 laptop. I have just preformed a clean install of Windows XP Home and have upgrade to XP Pro. I have applied all of the hotfixes and service packs avalable. The problem I am having is that when I plug in my USB floppy drive it cause the system to blue screen, memory dump, and reboot.
The error I am reciving is about the Windows USB drivers. I can however plug in my USB mouse and it works just fine. Is there a patch or work around out there to correct this problem. I would really perfer not to have to buy a new floppy drive

Sincerely
Bryan Lumpkin
