USB Thumbdrive drivers loaded by users who are not administrators

Hi all,

I currently assist in supporting several computer lab admins on our
large college campus. Students are bringing in USB thumbdrives and
memory sticks, placing them into the USB ports, and not gaining access
to their portable file systems. We believe this has to do with the fact
that our students are domain users who are not granted the "load and
unload device drivers" permission.

Through Group Policy, we have allowed one lab to grant domain users the
access to load and unload device drivers, but that doesn't seem to be
working. Any thoughts or ideas would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.
