Hi
Can someone out there please help.
When I plug in my Kingston USB stick into my computer, it is
recognised. However if I save a file( with a normal attribute) on
the stick and open the file it is now has a Read only memory
attribute. Using windows explorer to look at the attribute of the
file it says it is normal. Furthermore, I can no longer delete the
file on the stick. However if I un-plug the stick (correctly) and
reinsert it I can then delete it. When I plug in the stick into
another computer and open the same file the attribute shows it is
normal. This seems to suggest to me that the problem lies with
permission allocated to the stick. How do I set the properties such
that I force the attribute to be normal or whatever the file was
originally. I am running Windows 2000 using SP 4
Hope someone out there can help[
