Hi,
I have a desktop with Win XP Pro which indicates it has the USB 2.0 and
shows up as such in the device manager.
However, how do I know the speed of a connected device?
For example, I plug in an external HDD via USB, but I do not know if the
external drive is 1.0, 1.1, or 2.0.
Is there some sort of indication of the current speed a particular device?
Thanks for any help,

I've never seen an external drive other than USB2, but no doubt they exist
(Firewire for example).
