USB Satellite Modem will not install

I accidently removed my Direcway sat. modem (2-way) two
days ago, and I can't get it reinstalled. This is a USB
device and should install as a Network Adapter, but I keep
getting an error "The INF or the device info set or
element does not match the specified install class." This
is on a Pentium 4 running WIN 2000 Pro. Anyone seen this
or have an idea of what to do?

If the device is a *modem*...I;d sort of think you'd want to install it as a
modem rather than a network adaptor!
