usb reaction to xp servicepack 1

anyone know why my usb ports do not seem to work properly
(eg no mouse) after I downloaded Windows XP ServicePack
1? When I restore the computer to the settings before the
download everything is fine.
 
Hi, delete the usb hub(s) after installing SP1, reboot the PC and it should
detect and run the USB ports ok.....
