USB Problems

I cannot see my Digital Camera in the removable devices whenever I connect
it to the PC. Other USB product work ok with the port. In order to extract
the pics form the camera, I cannot find another way. Any ideas....?? I have
XP SP2 Pro U/Dated.

Have you installed the drivers for the Camera, or installed the photo
retrieval software that came with the camera?

What type of memory card does the camera use? You can buy a multi-format
card reader for very little money...the reader will be faster than the
camera.

Yes, I have installed the driver and other software that came with the
camera. I have tried changing the USB port, the wire but to no avail. i
currently have a cam, printer Infrared device that work perfect on the USB.
For the time being, I am using the cameras internal memory.
