Is USB printing supported at all? Has anyone got it working on a RDP 5.0
client? Or is Windows Server 2003 the only option?

Thanks,
f

I've tried the registry reroute DWord on the client side.

I get no errors in the event viewer on the server when I start the Terminal
session.. The printer seems to map okay? It's an Epson COlor Stylist..

The Espon software creates a usb001 port.

Help Vera!!!

Are you getting any events stating that the printer is actually being set?
If not, it's not even trying to map the printer.

Dumb question but you do have 'Printers' checked in the RDP client right?

Yes I'm getting printer installed messages and they are creating and
deleting okay.

yes to RDP client printer configuration

Just to check I've got the facts right: your printer is being
autocreated in your TS session, is that correct?
If so, I assume that printing itself doesn't work, one way or the
other. Any error messages?

You will probably have to remap the printer driver to a native
driver on the server. The
Client Printer Autocreation Matrix by PrintingSupport at
http://www.printingsupport.com/matrix.htm

gives numerous examples of mappings for Epson Stylus printers, for
example:

"EPSON Stylus COLOR 200" = "Epson Stylus COLOR 200 ESC/P 2"

Check the correct driver name on your client and server, and use
the information in this KB article:
