Hello,
is it possible to configure windows in a way that it automatically
detects and configures every usb-plug-and-play printer as generic
printer?
We have an application which sends raw pcl-data to an pcl-printer
connected to an usb-port on a windows-xp machine. So normaly we don't
need any printerdriver.
In future we will have different printer models. Maybe some of them need
special printerdrivers when they are detected by plug-and-play, not
available in a standard windows installation. And because we use raw pcl
we don't need the drivers.
