N Newsreader Dec 30, 2003 #3 I am experiencing the same problem with me dell laptop. The problem was solved for stand alone by installing the Microsoft patch contained at http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/...4956-b7fe-e85b688b7f86&DisplayLang=en This patch did not solve the problem when the laptop is docked. My next step is to get a powered USB hub for the docking station. Please post any findings on this problem. I will do the same. As you have noted. It is quite frustrating to fix intermittent problems. Peter
