USB Ports problem

I use a Lenovo G505 3 years in good use. Since of late this has started..

1. My left side USB 2 ports are not connecting. On the right side one on top right hand corner (near power inlet) works well.
2. When typying on built in key board it jumps sometimes to above line - frustrating for quick typing.

any ideas.

Are there any errors or warnings for your USB ports if you take a look at device manager? Which OS are you using?

With regards to the keyboard, this is a common problem and often turns out to be the wrists brushing the touchpad and moving the cursor/clicking occasionally.
