usb ports on P4P800 Deluxe

Anybody having trouble with usb ports on the P4P800 Deluxe? The only
way I can get my pc to recognize a new usb device is to reboot. All
the usb ports work. Did I do something wrong?

Maybe that's your device, not the usb port.

I have no problem in all USB ports - checked one by one with my external usb
hard disks.

I don't think it is my devices...I have a mouse,zip drive and an ATI
wireless reciever. They are all there and working. However, if I were
to unplug one device it would go away (as it should), it should come
back when I plug it back in. Now I have to reboot to get it to be
active again. On the old pc I could add usb devices without rebooting.
