USB Ports no longer function after upgrading to XP

I recently upgraded from Windows ME to XP and now my USB
ports do not function. Any insights would be
appreciated.

Download and install the latest drivers for your system board (VIA- get the
latest Hyperion, / Intel, get the latest INF driver updates). This should
do.

I am having the same problems as well. I have been
looking for the drivers online, but cannot find them. I
would appreciate help on where to find them. I went to
sites that claimed to have the drivers, but they are not
for XP. Thank you.

Contact your PC /motherboard manufacturer for information on the chipset in
the board.
