USB port is not working after Driver Uninstall

I recently installed and then uninstalled (as it was not working
properly) a USB driver for a sound mixer under Win XP.
Now my USB (1.1) port is not working at all - I tried a broadband and a
printer.
Is it possible that the Uninstall deleted the standard driver ?
If so - where can I download the standard USB 1.1 driver for Win XP.
Will I neeed to re-install other drivers for all USB devices that I
have ( printers, etc)
