I recently had a problem installing a mouse that involved software missing
and now this is just the opposite! .. For some reason my USB device isn't
even recognizing the printer as hardware.. I've installed all the
software..gone through the troubleshoot (or what the Cannon manual
recommended) and still nothing.. I've used 2 different usb cords one of which
worked perfectly on another computer so I know it's not a cord problem.. when
I plug the cord into the USB I get the "doesn't recognize hardware" sound but
nothing pops up to let me know it's plugged in (or recognized). I have a
Cannon Pixma MP450.. Any help would be great...
