Hi, I have a A7V8X-X: asus motherboard. I'm connected on an Asus USB modem,
and before i had no problem. Now i have done a format on my pc and since
i've done this... i can connect to the internet, but after a short while, my
usb sockets seem to be dead.

All the lights on my modem suddenly turn off, and i have to reboot to get
back a connection. Rather frustrating if you you want to do some work on the
internet.

Is this a known problem?

In my control panel, i've already turned the powersave off on the usbs...

Help!

Thanks,
Krijn

I was looking for drivers on the VIA site and I understood that their
USB 2 Driver Package may be installed on top of the Microsoft 2.0 Driver
from whichever Win OS you have, after it's been updated to include any
Service Packs. This gives additional functionality. Anybody with a VIA
chipset tried this? Does it work? I am working on a A7V333 right now
for a friend and would like to know?
