I have a HP desktop d530 USDT with an USB keyboard en mouse. Sometimes after booting Windows XP the mouse and keyboard are not working. When I disconnect the network cable from my Broadcom Gigaspeed NIC and reboot, everything is fine. When I reboot with the network cable connected, the mouse and keyboard failes again.
I heard that this is a known Microsoft problem and that a fix excists. Can someone help me with this problem?

Thank you very much.

You seems to have a IRQ conflict with the USB ports and NIC card. Can you
switch PCI slot for the NIC?
