Usb goes out when playing games

My Usb goes out when playing games and sometimes when the
computer goes to screensaver mode. Only thing i have
connected to the usb is my mouse and my broadband adapter.
When i unplug it and plug it back in they still dont work
and i have to restart the computer. It used to Restart
the computer but now it does this. And I can only play
like 5-10mins of the game b4 it crashes. Any help would
be nice Thanks

Make sure you've got the latest chipset drivers for your motherboard, and
USB drivers as well as graphics and sound - if you're not sure how to find
out post back and someone will guide you through it.

Do you know what broadband adapter you've got? I've heard of a few issues
with them drawing too much current and the motherboard (usually older ones)
can sometimes disable them for safety reasons.

Ok so how do i check for the latest chipset drivers? and
bradband adapter is from microsoft model is MN-510
