USB function version information

ENV: WindowsXP, SP2

I have some flash-memory USBs. I just want to know they are based on USB1.1
or USB2.0.

Plug them in to a USB 1.1 port. If the system say they could go faster
in a 2.0 port, they are 2.0.

Agree with Bob I, except that you should plug into a USB 2.0 port instead.

That would deliver the best speed, but how would he know if it was 1.1 or 2?

That won't actually tell him if they are USB1 or USB2. Bob's method will.
