I have XPe terminal that I plug a USB floppydrive into
It is not recognised. Is there a USB-FDD generic driver that I can use?

Hi,

you need 2 components to get USB floppys work:

- USB FloppyDisk Drive (Hardware->Devices->Floppy Disk
Drives)
- TEAC USB Floppy (example), here you should use the
component for your manufactorer. See Hardware->Devices-
Universal SerialBus controllers.
I did not find a generic driver.

I guess something like "USB root hub" in your
configuration is needed too.

Not that I know of. USB support usually requires the
correct chipset & peripheral drivers to be added to the
image.

I would check to see if XP Pro has native support for
your USB Floppy. If so, they you should be able to find
the correct drivers in the XPe database and add them to
your image. If XP Pro does not natively support your USB
floppy, then you will need to add the third party drivers
to your image.
